The Financial Analyst will support the finance team by assisting in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This role will focus on evaluating financial performance, identifying trends, and preparing reports to aid decision-making. The Financial Analyst will work closely with senior finance professionals to develop analytical skills and gain exposure to various aspects of financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in financial analysis, including evaluating performance, trends, and budget variances
• Support the preparation of financial reports and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Gather and analyze data to support decision-making on expenses, investments, and working capital
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning
• Analyze key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, Churn, etc.) to identify trends and business insights
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Operations) to assess financial performance and support data driven decision making
• Monitor and report on KPIs and operational metrics to identify risks and opportunities
• Assist in pricing strategy, customer profitability analysis, and financial impact assessment of business initiatives
• Support investor reporting, board presentations, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Help track industry trends and competitive insights to support strategic initiatives
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting or a related role
• Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, or forecasting preferred
• Experience using financial analysis software and Excel for data manipulation
• Basic understanding of financial principles, including forecasting and trend analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work with financial modeling and data analysis tools
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to convey complex data to non-financial stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and financial analysis software
• Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and collaborate with various departments
